Two Year Old Mix
Hedge pack B offers a common native mix
made up from approximately 70% Hawthorn,
20% Blackthorn and a 10% mix of Crab Apple,
Dog Rose, Field Maple, Guelder Rose and Hazel. The Hawthorn plants in this pack are 40-60cm
tall, two years old and bushy making them more challenging to handle and plant than the single stemmed Pack A plants.
Two types of guards are available if required to accommodate the bushy nature of these plants:
1. The Planet guard has a solid base and mesh top, which allows the plant to bush through it. The planet is then attached to two canes to keep in place.
2. A solid Rabbit Spiral guard can be placed around the plant and cane for support.
